Kartmesse 2023 cancelled – new start in 2024

The 29th edition of the international Kartmesse was to take place in Dortmund in a few weeks, but unfortunately the event has to take another break. A new start is planned for 2024, and there are already exhibitor commitments and reserved stand spaces.

“Of course it hits us that we have to take another break after 2021 and 2022. We have spoken to numerous exhibitors. They are very hesitant due to the current economic development and the associated cost development. As a result, we cannot offer a programme that does justice to the world’s largest Kartmesse,” explains Marcel Fuchsberger, head of the fair.

Despite this, Fuchsberger and his team are still planning ahead. In 2024, the Kartmesse will experience a new start from 13-14 January. “We are pleased that many exhibitors have already confirmed their participation for 2024 and reserved stand space. We are now building on this and are already in contact with the world of karting,” continues Fuchsberger.

The trade fair venue has already been fixed for 2024 as well. As already planned for next year, the Kartmesse will then take place for the first time in the spacious exhibition halls of the Westfalenhalle Dortmund. All information on the 29th International Kartmesse is available at www.kartmesse.de.

New poster for exhibition premiere in Dortmund

Several innovations await the 29th edition of the international karting exhibition. For the first time, the world’s leading exhibition for karting will be held in Dortmund’s Westfalenhallen from 15. and 16. January 2022 and now also presents the new poster in a fresh design.

“We are delighted that our “new” Kartmesse is taking shape. With Messe Dortmund, we have found an environment that does justice to our exhibitors and visitors. The height of the halls offers a lot of design possibilities, our exhibitors can place their trailers directly in the hall and thus save costs and effort compared to the past,” explains fair director Marcel Fuchsberger.

But not only the location is new, there are also changes in the poster. With a fresh new design, the exhibition is now starting its advertising and public relations work. The Kartmesse will continue to focus on the entire variety of karting. From racing and rental karts to accessories for kart drivers and kart track operators, Dortmund leaves nothing to be desired.

“The interest of the exhibitors is great. After a two-year break, they want to present the news to the public again. In addition, we are also working on a good supporting programme to provide our visitors with even more variety,” Marcel Fuchsberger continues.

At the same time, the Kartmesse website is currently being updated. All important information for exhibitors and visitors will be available there soon. Interested parties can contact Marcel Fuchsberger at any time at info@kartmesse.de or +49 160 97531108.
